Do I need to specify what type of facial I want when booking an appointment?
Not unless you want to! We realize that for most people, this could be your first facial or you just do not know which is best for your skin type. Our professional estheticians will discuss what type of facial is best for you during the preparations step of your appointment.
What is your policy for services on children under 18?
The Skin and Body Center welcomes all ages! However, for those under the age of 18 we require a parent or legal guardian to sit in on the service with their child. If you are under 18 and are calling to schedule , or you are scheduling an appointment for someone under 18, please be sure to inform us so we can adjust to the needs of the minor and and their respective guardian.
What is dermaplaning and does it hurt?
Dermaplaning is a noninvasive exfoliation of the face and no, it does not hurt! :)
Which type of massage is best for me?
Depending on lifestyles, different massages are best for different people. Pre-natal massages are great for expecting mothers (as long as the mommy to be is out of her first trimester). Deep tissue and sports massages are great for people that put exercising in their daily routines. Etc. etc. If you do not know which type you want, consult our massage therapists when you come in for your appointment and they will be able to help you figure out which is best for you!
How do I get the best results from LED Lipo?
We have found that those that are happiest with their results are the ones that get LED lipo while keeping up a healthy diet and exercising regularly (and of course drinking PLENTY of water!)
What is your policy on groups of people that want to receive a service or multiple services?
We LOVE having groups come to Skin and Body Center but you will need to coordinate your group's appointments with our center coordinator. You can reach her at email@example.com to coordinate your group's relaxing spa experience. All others can just call to schedule your appointment at 904-342-2415.
What is your return policy?
Skin care products: We are constantly striving to create an environment founded in excellence, quality, and most importantly – the safety of our clients. For this reason, we cannot accept skin care product returns (with exception to clear defects in packaging or product) once your purchase has been completed. **Exception: A store credit or product exchange may be given for any opened item that is returned due to an adverse reaction that a client has experienced while using that product, within 14 days of purchase. The client must consult with a technician prior to receiving a credit or exchange of the product.
Retail items: We will give a store credit for future purchases or services if your retail item is defective or damaged and returned within 14 days of purchase.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that life can be hectic and sometimes you need to call in to cancel an upcoming appointment. We ask that you contact us AT LEAST 24 hours in advance of the appointment you are cancelling in order to give us time to accommodate. If the appointment you are cancelling is part of a series (Lipo/LED Package) and you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, you forfeit that appointment in the series. If you are a member and cancel less than 24 hours you may loss that treatment for the month. Please remember most of our professionals are on call and could have scheduled someone else in your place.
Is Nano Needling Skin Refinement safe?
Yes. The Nano chip is made of the highest purity (99.9999%) Mono Crystalline silicon. It has excellent bio-compatibility with the skin. Each individually packaged, sterile, single use cartridge contains 81 crystal pyramids that are 1/3 the diameter of a human hair. The Nano pins are so thin that they are able to perforate the top layer of the skin without damaging it. The micro pores close in less than 15 minutes after the perforation as the effected skin cells go through a natural healing process.
